The Wine Menu

To complement our new menu we have introduced a new wine list with a small but eclectic choice which, we believe, will appeal to all our members.

   
 

Keates Drift Dry Red (South Africa)
Vibrant blackfruit flavours dominate this superbly modern Cape blend.

Big River Shiraz (Australia)
Full-bodied red wine with a hint of black-pepper spice on the nose and ripe bramble flavours on the palate.

Nautica Merlot (Chile)
Soft, fleshy with excellent mouth feel.Testimony to the quality of red wines coming out of Chile today.

Aragonia Crianza Tinto (Spain)
Superb blend of savoury fruit flavours and warm oak nuances.It is rare to find a Crianza wine of this quality at this price.

Chianti Cantine di Montalcino (Italy)

Mid-weight, spicy with a soft cherry flavour. This famous Tuscan red wine is based upon the local Sangiovese grape.

Gine y Gine Priorat (Spain)

Spains most written about and expensive red wine area produces wines with a rare combination of intensity, concentration and complexity.

Beaujolais-Villages, Chateau de Carre (France)

Deliciously light in style with juicy berry-fruit flavours. This is exemplary Estate-bottled Beaujolais.

Heinrich Shiraz-Grenache (Australia)
Unsurpassed excellent in winemaking from this award winning Barossa Valley producer. Rolf Binder is the only Australian producer to achieve four 99 point ratings on his red wines from the world reknowned American wine critic 'Robert Parker'

Mitchell Watrevale Riesling (Australia)
This lovely dry Riesling from the Clare valley in South Australia is consistently voted amoungst Australia's finest. Its fusion of mineral and lime flavours, and crisp palate makes it an ideal match to many types of food.
